About our team

Rotor and Plane helicopter appraisal specialist Mike Muench has over thirty years helicopter experience including thousands of hours flying Emergency Medical Service and utility pilot work in single and multi-engine helicopters.

Holding a Helicopter Airline Transport Pilot / Flight and Instrument Instructor certification, Mike has maintained his A&P mechanic proficiency as a turbine engine helicopter pilot / mechanic for over ten years. A Bachelor of Science degree in aviation technology and a commercial multi-engine airplane pilot rating tops off Mike’s resume. Having attended helicopter factory airframe and engine schools in both pilot and field maintenance disciplines, Mike speaks helicopter fluently. Integral to the team is our affiliation with the National Aircraft Appraisers Association. Having your appraisal done by a Certified NAAA Aircraft Appraiser means that your helicopter or airplane value will be accepted by government and financial institutions across the USA

Another part of our team is the appraisers that we  confer with, who update aircraft values in our national database on a monthly basis to insure that your helicopter or airplane is accurately valued. Where We Are

Geographically we operate from central Florida. The Tampa Bay area has some of the best flying weather in the country, so we want to be where we're needed most. What We Do

Rotor and Plane will inspect the aircraft in person, review all available maintenance logbooks, historical records and repair & alteration  forms. Based upon age, flight hours, installed equipment, component times, paint and interior condition, as well as numerous other parameters, Rotor and Plane will provide you with a report outlining the value of your aircraft in the current market and explain how we reached that value.
